Nestled deep in the Royal Forest of Dean, with magnificent views over 10,000 acres of surrounding forest, down to the River Severn to and the Cotswolds Escarpment, Danby Lodge is one of 7 Lodges built in 1668 by the order of King Charles II. To this day, there is a King Charles Oak within the extensive gardens.
